the podcast I have found, is "Is a Vary Low Calorie Diet The Right Choice For You?" by Helen Jones-Wray.
it talks about low calories diets are right or not. I thought this podcast is very good because not just saying it is right or wrong, the speaker first describes how calories are calculated, and how each nutritional element functions. She also tells the listeners the risk of a very low calorie diet, therefore, it is not forcing us to try a dangerous diet.

ReplyDeleteThe problem of diet is very important because it directly related to our daily lives. Solving the problem is difficult though, so we should try getting basic knowledge about food, especially about calories or nutritional elements, like you said. I think it is important the balance of suggesting people healthier ways of diets and respecting their thought and ideals. For whatever reason, it isn't good to force someone to do something that he or she does not want to do. I also think that after knowing the specific cases of diets and knowledge related to the issue, it can become easier for those who were trying to take dangerous ways of diet, to reconsider them. So, the podcast you found will surely be effective to learn about the issue.

ReplyDeleteI think calculating calories when you have a meal is not good because the people in front of you may feel displeasure for that. Every person wants to enjoy each meal. Also I think restricting the amount of meals for diet is not good. People even on diet should eat whatever they like and as much as they like, and after that, they should do exercise moderately. That’s so good for maintaining weight and being in a good health.
